Mother's Day 2008

Well, we hosted our first family event at our home this past Sunday for Mother's Day! It was a huge success (in my humble opinion of course)! We had delicious food and plenty of bloody mary's and mimosas to go around!

Some of the dishes served were:

Ham and Cheese breakfast casserole
Baked French Toast
Cheese Grits
Hashbrown casserole
Cinnamon Rolls
Fresh Fruit


All was delicious! I made the first 2 and I think both are keepers! Especially Paula Deen's recipe for Baked French Toast - YUM! If you want the recipes, let me know!!

The day was perfect - sunny, warm and perfect for sitting on our porch. It was wonderful.
